There are several ways to get to Cherepovets:

  1. Plane or train to Moscow or St. Petersburg.

  2. From Moscow you can take a train from Yaroslavsky Railway Station (direct daily train to Cherepovets, travel time — 11 hours, fare — about 2,000 rubles ($ 33) in economy class) OR a plane by Severstal airlines from Vnukovo/ Sheremetyevo Airport (daily flights, travel time — 1 hour, check fare with the carrier).

  3. From St. Petersburg you can also take a train from the Ladoga station (daily trains passing through Cherepovets, travel time — 10 hours, fare — about 2,000 rubles ($ 33) in economy class) OR a plane by Severstal airlines from Pulkovo Airport (daily flights, travel time — 1 hour, check fare with the carrier).

  4. From the train station you can walk (about 40 minutes), take a bus number 4 (about 15 minutes, fare — 25 rubles ($ 0.45)) or take a taxi (10 minutes, fare — 200 rubles ($3.33))

  5. From the airport you can take a taxi, fare — about 900 rubles ($ 15).
